In its formative period, Cameron assumed a dual responsibility at eBay. As Senior Vice President – Business Development at Butterfields (at that time an eBay Company), he was responsible for Marketing, Customer Service, Business Development and the specialized expert departments for Southern California. In addition he worked directly with eBay Marketing in San Jose as TV on-air spokesperson. He led a successful cross platform project for eBay, in partnership with The History Channel, which earned a “Reggie Award” for New Media Promotion.
In addition to a 20 year career as a senior business executive, Cameron has provided volunteer leadership with a number of West Coast non-profit organizations including SFMOMA, LACMA, Friends of Photography, and the 18th Street Arts Complex. He is currently a Governor for the Idyllwild Arts Foundation. He holds an MBA from The Anderson School of UCLA, Los Angeles, California (1985) and a BA, Pomona College, Claremont, California (1975).
